The Hybrid Role: Dev & PM

Being a Lead Developer and Assistant PM simultaneously is a balancing act. Whether it was leading the mobile team at Tokodistributor or managing the by.U launch, the goal was the same: High-quality delivery without compromise.

My Management Philosophy:

  • Tech-Driven Planning: Deep understanding of the codebase allows me to set realistic deadlines and identify technical debt before it impacts the roadmap.
  • Agile Advocacy: Implementing Scrum effectively to ensure the team stays focused during high-pressure migration phases.
  • Bridging Communication: Translating complex technical challenges (like backend migration) into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership isn't just about giving orders; it's about clearing the technical path so the engineers can focus on solving real problems.
